Puppies are beginning to cut their teeth! They are wanting to chew, chew, chew!! And I don't know what it is, but they want to lick my hands and arms all the time! LOL I can't hardly pet them for them all trying to lick me. They are acting like little kittens, playing and pouncing, so cute. We always have one in a litter that seems to be the "watch dog" of the group, well, little Miss Boo is the chosen one with this litter. Anytime I come in or go out the door, she's the one to jump up and bark, just like she's gonna eat someone up! And just for a warning, I think they have inherited their grandmother's (Jasmine) climbing abilities!!! That's right, they have ALL climbed OUT of their box as of today. I think that's the earliest we've ever had any litter to climb their way out........look out! Jasmine is one of those Heelers that can get out of anything! It's still hard for me to say for sure on these girls' coloring. Bingo and probably Boo look a little more smooth on the red, but have somewhat speckled legs. Kora and Annie aren't as smooth looking but definitely not really speckled looking like the boys. The boys will be heavily speckled. I'm thinking the girls are going to have more of a "mottle" appearance, not the distinct dots. The color looks like ticking or something. They all have speckled tails though! And most speckled legs. They are all just very sweet, playful and friendly. I did feed them their first meal tonight. They totally LOVED that!! Lapped every drop up! I always start my puppies out on some baby rice cereal, mixed real thin, just to get them a little extra and help them learn to eat. I'll keep them on this until they get their teeth in pretty good, then move to a mixture of cereal and soft canned puppy food, not too thick. I've got to worm them tomorrow as well.......that has totally slipped my mind! Ok, on to the pics now! Ya'll have a good night.
